Steer from Telegram or Slack.

You're away from the desk and a session needs an answer. It asks in Telegram, you press Allow once, and the desktop carries on. Later, a Slack message starts a new session in a thread.

Use case 3, about 75 seconds1920 × 1080, captioned. Recorded in phase 5.
Recorded from a real run on the demo repository. Every reply on screen came from the model. A sped-up stretch says so on screen.

Telegram

  1. Step 1

Set up a Telegram bot and a private group for it. Turret's setup list walks you through it and checks most of the steps for you.

  2. Step 2

Approve the folders a session from Telegram may work in.

    Step 3

In the group, send /session and pick a folder. The session gets a topic of its own.

  3. Step 4

Write in the topic to steer it. Its replies come back there.

    Step 5

In Manual mode, when it wants to edit a file or run a command, a message arrives with Allow once and Deny. Press one.

Still 8A permission request answered in Telegram, with the same session on the desktop. Detail 800 × 600 at 2×. Light and dark.

Only you can start sessions. Add people to the group to watch or to steer, and choose who may approve.

Slack

  1. Step 1

Make a Slack app for Turret from its settings. Slack opens with Turret's settings filled in.

    Step 2

Set up a channel with a folder, a mode and a model.

    Step 3

Mention @Turret in that channel. A session starts in the thread.

  2. Step 4

Reply in the thread to steer it. A permission request arrives as a card.

    A permission card in Slack.

Slack answers on the desktop. Only you and the people you pick can approve.

A session started from either chat never skips its permission requests.
