Have a job archive its own sessions
Set a job so Turret archives each run's session once it has sat idle long enough.
A job you run often leaves its finished sessions sitting in the sidebar, and you want each finished session archived on its own.
- Open Automations from the sidebar's footer, and click the job's row.
- As the job editor's last field, set how long a run waits, idle, before Turret archives its session.
- Press Save.
A run that made a worktree has it removed along with the session. A worktree holding uncommitted work is kept, and the session is archived without it.
Idle means waiting for a person, with nothing queued. See Automation schedule fields for exactly what counts as idle and the full list of waits Turret offers.
See Write a scheduled job for the rest of the job editor.
