Run a job by hand

Fire a job's run right now, without waiting for its schedule.

You want a job to run right now, without waiting for its schedule.

  1. Open Automations from the sidebar's footer.
  2. Find the job's row. A Manual job's Run control sits visible at its trailing edge. A scheduled job shows the same control only when you point at or focus its row.
  3. Press Run. Turret disables the control briefly, so a second click does not start a second run.

A run that starts closes the Automations screen, but does not select its new session. Find the session's row in the sidebar and click it to see the run. A run that fails to start leaves the screen open instead, and shows why under the job's row.

See Automation schedule fields for what a run's Trigger and Outcome fields show once it starts.
