Pair two machines
Switch two Turret installs on the same network so each can start a session on the other.
You have two Turret installs on the same network and want each to see the other's sessions.
- On both machines, open Settings and the Services tab.
- Switch Peer Discovery on, on both machines. Each now lists the other in the sidebar.
- On the first machine, press the sidebar's Peer Discovery row, showing its own PIN.
- On the second machine, press its own Peer Discovery row, which shows a field for every discovered, unpaired peer. Type the first machine's PIN into the field named for it, then press Pair.
Both machines now list each other's sessions. A single exchange establishes both directions. The first machine records the pairing the moment it accepts the PIN, and the second records its own half as soon as that answer arrives.
A wrong PIN leaves tries remaining, shown under the field. Five wrong tries in a row rotate the PIN and lock pairing on that route for a minute. Read the current PIN again after the lockout passes.
See Settings for the Services tab's Peer discovery field, and the paired-peers list Unpair sits on.
